Installation Steps

1. Prepare Materials:
   • Purchase a Mishimoto weighted shift knob .
   • Check the kit contents: includes the knob body, multiple adapters (for different vehicle thread patterns), and possibly some accessories.
   • Note: The stock knob may have thread locker; removal can be difficult. The creator mentions the original threads were damaged and used tape to temporarily secure the shift boot.
2. Remove Stock Knob (if not already done):
   • Twist the stock knob counterclockwise to remove.
