Etapas de instalação

Estacione seu Sorento em terreno plano , acione o freio de mão e use calços nas rodas . Pegue sua chave de soquete, chaves de fenda, alicate e uma ferramenta para painel . Não se esqueça de luvas e óculos de segurança !

Para-choque dianteiro: passo a passo

  1. Preparação: Inspecione o novo para-choque e limpe a área de montagem do veículo .
  2. Remover o antigo: Retire as tampas superiores (sob o capô) e as tampas/parafusos inferiores (sob o veículo). Gire o volante, retire o revestimento do para-lama e remova o parafuso único de cada lado que conecta o para-choque ao para-lama.
  3. Instalação nova: Alinhe e fixe o novo para-choque, apertando do centro para fora . Conecte quaisquer luzes ou sensores.

Para-choque traseiro: passo a passo

  1. Preparação: Inspecione o novo para-choque e limpe a área de montagem do veículo .
  2. Remover o antigo: Abra o porta-malas, remova as lanternas traseiras (2 parafusos de cada lado) e quaisquer pistões/parafusos próximos a elas. Nos arcos das rodas, remova o parafuso único de cada lado que conecta o para-choque ao para-lama. Por baixo, remova dois parafusos de cada lado que conectam o reforço do para-choque à carroceria.
  3. Instalação nova: Alinhe e fixe o novo para-choque, apertando do centro para fora . Reconecte quaisquer câmeras ou sensores.

Verificação final

Inspecione visualmente para garantir o alinhamento uniforme e o encaixe perfeito. Puxe delicadamente para confirmar a fixação. Teste todas as luzes/sensores e certifique-se de que não haja interferência com portas, capô ou porta-malas.

Installation Guides

Surface Decontamination: Thoroughly wash the front and rear lower bumper areas. Use an alcohol-based cleaning wipe to remove all traces of wax, tire shine, or road film. Adhesion fails on oily surfaces.

Dry Fit Test: Hold the front guard up to the bumper. Align it with the center point and the fog light housing. Use masking tape to mark the exact position once you are satisfied with the alignment.

Adhesive Preparation: Peel back approximately 2 inches (5cm) of the 3M tape backing from each corner of the guard, folding it outward so you can pull the rest of the backing off once the piece is in place.

Front Guard Mounting: Align the guard with your marks. Press the corners firmly, then slowly pull the remaining tape backing while applying pressure across the entire surface.

Secure Factory Bolts: If your Sorento model has existing bolts/screws under the bumper lip, remove them before step 4 and re-insert them through the guard’s mounting holes for a "double-secure" mechanical hold.

Rear Guard Installation: Repeat the process for the rear. Ensure the cutout for the exhaust tip and the tow hitch (if applicable) is centered perfectly before applying pressure.

Final Bonding: Firmly press along all edges for 60 seconds. Avoid driving through a car wash or in heavy rain for 48 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
