Installation Guides

Perform Alignment Mock-up Place the left and right guards over the tail lights without removing adhesive backing to familiarize yourself with the fit and ensure perfect alignment with gaps between light and body panel.
Clean Surface Thoroughly Use Isopropyl alcohol or dedicated prep-wipe to clean the tail light lens and surrounding plastic housing, ensuring 100% removal of wax, ceramic coatings, and dust for optimal adhesion.
Activate Adhesive with Heat Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently warm the 3M tape on the guard backing for 10-15 seconds, activating the adhesive for a much stronger permanent bond.
Peel Backing Gradually Remove a small 2-inch section of red backing film from each corner of the guard, working methodically around the perimeter.
Position Guard Precisely Carefully press the guard onto the tail light, and once positioned perfectly, pull out the remaining red backing strips from underneath while holding the guard firmly in place.
Apply Compression Bond Press firmly and evenly across all sections of the guard, especially corners and edges, for at least 60 seconds to ensure the VHB tape wets out and creates a waterproof seal.
Allow Full Curing Time Do not wash your vehicle or drive in heavy rain for 24-48 hours to allow the bond to reach maximum structural strength.
