Description

Engineered specifically to deliver high-performance, reliable, and environmentally conscious braking, this Brembo system is the ultimate upgrade for your vehicle's safety and control. It is backed by 60 years of braking history, with a legacy in motorsports including use by Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, and Porsche since 1975. This system utilizes Brembo's patented technology and holds the respected EU ECE-R90 certification, guaranteeing a product that is both high-performance and environmentally friendly. Featuring advanced UV coating technology and unique metal surface treatment, the brake discs offer superior corrosion resistance and a premium aesthetic look, all while minimizing environmental impact.

🚕Core Technology & Features

1. High-Carbon (HC) & Advanced Materials

Brembo HC rotors utilize a unique, high-carbon content formula. This advanced metallurgy delivers:

  • Reduced Noise & Vibration (NVH): Ensures a quieter and more comfortable driving experience.

  • High Performance: Optimized friction coefficient for enhanced braking efficiency and shorter stopping distances.

  • High Thermal Resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 800°C for improved durability and extended lifespan.

2. Specialized Rotor Designs

  • Pillar Venting Technology (PVT): Unique pillar-shaped ventilation (instead of standard vanes) significantly enhances heat dissipation, increasing resistance to thermal cracks and extending rotor life.

  • Slotted/Drilled Designs (BREMBO MAX): The Max series features precision slots/drills (customized to the model) for:

    • Enhanced Wet Performance: Rapidly disperses water, gas, and friction materials for immediate response.

    • Anti-Fading: Maintains a stable friction coefficient even under high heat for consistent performance.

3. High-Precision Manufacturing

  • High-Precision Dynamic Balancing: Each rotor undergoes advanced dynamic balancing to virtually eliminate high-speed brake judder and vibration.

  • UV Coating / Anti-Corrosion: A cutting-edge UV coating technology developed with automakers provides superior, lasting anti-corrosion protection and a clean, attractive look.

  • Fixed Assembly (If applicable): Rotors with fixed bells feature securely mounted studs for easy, lightweight, and safe installation.

🚐Maintenance & Bed-In Guide

1.  Brake Rotor Replacement Timing (When to Replace?)

  • Steering Wheel Shudder: If the steering wheel shakes left and right when braking, replace the rotor immediately.

  • Rotor Wear Limit: Replace the rotor when single-side wear reaches 1MM.

  • Cracks: Any visible cracks on the rotor surface indicate a structural failure and require immediate replacement.

2.  Break-in (Bed-In) Procedure - New Rotor Tips

The Bed-In Process: After installation, the new brake rotor requires a proper bed-in procedure to achieve optimal braking effectiveness.

  1. Initial Seating: Before driving, depress the brake pedal several times to eliminate any excessive clearance from the installation.

  2. Repeat 10+ Times:

    • Accelerate up to 60 KM/H.

    • Apply medium-pressure braking to decelerate down to 10 KM/H.

    • Repeat this cycle over 10 times.

  3. Final Note: Full braking performance is typically achieved after 80-100 KM of moderate use. Avoid continuous heavy braking and emergency stops during this period.

🔔 Required Info:

To ensure a perfect fit and match the correct specification for your vehicle, please be sure to provide the following information in the "Required Vehicle Information" area:

  1. your car's specific model;
  2. your car's launching year;
  3. your car's Wheel size;
  4. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) / Chassis Number;
  5. whether it is an electronic or mechanical parking brake.

Installation Steps

1.Warning:

Brake system is safety-critical. Professional installation recommended. Secure vehicle with parking brake, jack stands, and wheel chocks. Tools: wrench, torque wrench, jack, cleaner.

1) Remove Wheel: Loosen lug nuts, jack up vehicle, remove wheel.

2) Remove Caliper: Unbolt caliper (hang with wire, don’t stretch hose). Remove old pads.

3) Remove Old Rotor: Unscrew retainer clips (if any), tap or use puller to remove rotor. Clean hub surface.

4) Install New Rotor: Align new rotor on hub, secure with clips (apply anti-seize). Ensure clean and flat.

5) Install Pads & Caliper: Apply anti-squeal paste to pads, insert into caliper. Reinstall caliper, torque bolts to spec (use torque wrench, no impact gun).

6) Reassemble & Test: Reinstall wheel, torque lugs. Pump brake pedal to seat pistons. Test brakes at low speed.

Note: Bed-in new rotors with gentle stops. Refer to manual for torque values.

2.🔎 How to Locate Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN / Chassis Number)

The VIN is essential for ensuring part compatibility and can usually be found in these three main locations:

  1. On the Dashboard (Most Common):

    • Go to the driver's side of the vehicle.

    • Look where the dashboard meets the windshield.

    • You will see a small tab with the VIN permanently imprinted on it, visible from the outside of the car.

  2. On the Driver's Side Door Jamb:

    • Open the driver's side door.

    • Look for a sticker or label on the door frame (B-Pillar), often near the latch or underneath where the side-view mirror rests when the door is closed.

    • The VIN is printed on this sticker, along with other manufacturing information.

  3. On Vehicle Documents:

    • The VIN is also clearly printed on your official documents, such as the Vehicle Registration Certificate, Title, and Insurance Policy.
