Installation steps

Step 1: Insert the Bolt 
Adjust the head of the T-bolt so that it is parallel to the orientation of the guide rail slot.
Slide the T-Bolt smoothly into the slot from the open end of the rail, or the larger round/square entrance in the center.
Step 2: Rotate to Lock 
Slide the bolt to your desired pre-determined position.
Rotate 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. You will feel a slight “snap in” sensation. At this point, the head of the T-bolt is perpendicular to the rail groove and its “shoulders” are firmly seated behind the inner wall of the rail, creating a solid mechanical lock.
Step 3: Mount Your Accessory 
Align the mounting holes of the accessory you need to secure (e.g., base of luggage rack, bracket for spotlight, tie-down anchors, etc.) with the locked T-bolts.
Slide the accessory on smoothly.
Step 4: (Tighten the Nut) 
Slip a spacer over the bolt (if included in your kit) and pre-tighten the nut by hand. Using the appropriate size wrench or socket tool, tighten the nut further. Apply even pressure until the fitting is securely fastened and cannot be wiggled by hand.
