Installation Steps

1.Preparation

Park your vehicle on a level surface and disconnect the battery for safety. Gather tools including a screwdriver, wrench, and the MG7 Wooden Steering Wheel kit.  

2.Access the Steering Column

Remove the airbag (following your vehicle’s manual) and disconnect the wiring harness from the existing steering wheel.  

3.Remove the Old Steering Wheel

Use a wrench to loosen and remove the central nut, then carefully detach the old steering wheel, noting its alignment.  

4.Install the MG7 Steering Wheel

Align the new wooden steering wheel with the steering column shaft, securing it with the provided nut. Connect the cruise control switch wiring to the vehicle’s system.  

5.Secure Connections

Tighten the nut to the manufacturer’s torque specification and reattach the airbag, ensuring all connections are firm.  

6.Test and Verify

Reconnect the battery, start the vehicle, and test the cruise control functionality. Check for proper fit and comfort.  

7.Final Adjustments
