Installation Steps

1. Base Positioning and Fastening

• Positioning Requirements: Choose a clean, oil-free, and undeformed metal surface. Use a level to ensure the base is horizontal, with an offset of $\le$ 3mm.

• Bolt Fastening: Use high-strength bolts (common sizes M8-M12) of grade 8.8 or higher.

• Step-by-Step Tightening: After manually pre-tightening all bolts, use a torque wrench to tighten them twice in a diagonal sequence (first pass at 50% torque, second pass at 100% torque).

• Torque Value: The standard torque for M10 bolts is 15-20 N·m. Adjust this value based on the specific bolt grade.

2. Webbing Threading and Winding

• Threading Path: Pull up the release lever on top of the ratchet until it's fully open.
• Thread the webbing through the central opening of the spindle at the bottom of the pawl, forming a U-shape fold.
• After folding back the end of the webbing, pull it out from the slot below the release lever, creating a double-folded securement.
• Anti-Slip Treatment: Tie a single knot in the webbing before threading it to enhance wind resistance and prevent slipping.

3. Load Securing and Tightening

• Hook Connection: Hook the S-hook into dedicated cargo anchor points or truck grooves. If connecting with dual hooks, ensure a closed-loop lock.
• Progressive Tightening: Pump the handle 3-5 times for initial tightening, observing that the webbing is straight and untwisted.
• Continue pumping until the webbing is taut (you'll feel a noticeable increase in resistance). Do not operate beyond the torque limit.

4. Safety Locking and Verification

• Locking Confirmation: Push the ratchet handle down to its closed position. A clear "click" sound confirms the locking mechanism is engaged.
• Secondary Inspection: Manually pull on the webbing to confirm there's no slack.
• Observe that the pressure head is evenly in contact with the cargo surface, with local gaps $\le$ 1mm.
