Features & Benefits

  • FITS EVERY FJ CRUISER — 2007 to 2022, all markets. The roof structure and factory rack mounting points never changed, so one part number covers the entire production run.
  • CURES RACK RATTLE — Aged original brackets crack and loosen, letting the roof rack squeak and wobble. Fresh brackets with new nylon bushings restore a tight, silent, factory-solid mount.
  • OEM SPEC, MADE IN JAPAN — Genuine part no. 63187-35020 in Toyota packaging. Reinforced high-rigidity plastic body with nylon isolator bushings — the exact spec your rack was engineered around.
  • THE PART YOU CAN'T FIND — With the FJ Cruiser out of production, owners hunt forums and junkyards for these. Skip the search: brand-new stock, ready to ship.
  • TRUE BOLT-IN REPLACEMENT — Installs at the original factory positions with the existing hardware. No drilling, no cutting, fully reversible.
  • FULL-VEHICLE SET — 6 brackets refresh every mounting point in one go, so you never mix tired old plastic with new.

Yes - reversible, reuses factory bolts
  1. Park on level ground. Open the roof rack rail end caps / covers to access the mounting bolts (a plastic trim tool helps avoid scratches).
  2. Work one mounting position at a time so the rack stays supported — never unbolt all positions at once.
  3. Unbolt the rack leg from the roof mounting base and lift it just enough to free the old bracket.
  4. Remove the old bracket. If it's cracked or crumbling, clear any broken fragments from the mounting base.
  5. Seat the new bracket in the factory position, nylon bushings aligned with the two bolt holes (see the position photo in the gallery).
  6. Refit the original bolts hand-tight, check the bracket sits flat, then tighten evenly. Do not over-torque — the bushings should compress snugly, not crush.
  7. Repeat for all 8 positions, then press-test the rack for movement.
  8. Re-check bolt tightness after your first 50 km of driving.
Yes — every year. Toyota never changed the roof structure or rack mounting points from 2007 through the final 2022 production, so part 63187-35020 fits all FJ Cruisers, North American, Middle East and Japanese market alike.
Yes. They are OEM part no. 63187-35020, Made in Japan, supplied in Toyota genuine-parts packaging with the factory production label.
A full vehicle uses 6 brackets across the roof rack mounting points. We recommend the full set so every mount gets fresh plastic and bushings at once — mixing old and new brackets leaves weak points.
Years of UV and vibration make the original plastic brittle. Cracked brackets let the rack rattle, squeak and shift, and can stress the mounting bolts. Owners report these failing frequently — and used replacements are hard to find since the FJ was discontinued.
If the noise comes from cracked mounting brackets or worn bushings — the most common cause on aged FJs — yes. Fresh brackets restore the tight factory clamp.
No. These install at the original factory positions and reuse the existing mounting bolts. It's a fully reversible bolt-in replacement.
They're designed for the factory FJ Cruiser roof rack and its OEM mounting points. Many aftermarket racks that reuse the factory bases are also compatible — send us your rack model and we'll confirm.
Just a socket wrench and a plastic trim tool to open the rail covers. Work one mounting position at a time and re-torque after your first 50 km.
