This is a FRONT dash cam only. It records the road ahead through the windscreen. It is not a reversing (rear-view) camera, and it does not offer 360-degree coverage, dual front-and-rear recording, or parking surveillance. If you specifically need a reversing camera, this is not the right product.
Installation is genuine plug-and-play and takes only a few minutes with no tools. Your BYD has a pre-wired camera port inside the small housing beside the rear-view mirror. Simply pry open the housing cover, plug the camera into the blue connector, seat it into the housing, and close the cover. The camera powers on automatically with your car and begins recording.
