Installation Guides

  1. Drain Engine Oil Safely drain all engine oil into a suitable container by removing the drain plug. Allow the engine to cool completely before proceeding.
  2. Remove Old Oil Pan Unbolt the existing oil pan or sump from the engine block using appropriate sockets. Carefully lower and remove the old component, noting the bolt pattern.
  3. Clean Mounting Surface Thoroughly clean the engine block mounting surface with a wire brush or scraper to remove old gasket material, dirt, and oil residue until the surface is smooth and dry.
  4. Install New Gasket Apply a thin, even bead of gasket sealant around the new gasket perimeter if required. Position the gasket on the mounting surface, ensuring proper alignment with bolt holes.
  5. Secure New Oil Pan Install the new oil pan or sump and hand-tighten all bolts first. Then torque bolts to manufacturer specifications (typically 8-12 Nm) in a cross-pattern to ensure even sealing.
  6. Refill with Fresh Oil Pour the recommended engine oil grade back into the engine through the filler cap. Check the oil level with the dipstick and top up as needed.
  7. Test for Leaks Start the engine and let it idle for 2-3 minutes, then inspect the oil pan area for any leaks. Check oil level again after 5 minutes of running.
