    • Spectra: Check manufacturer’s manual for exact type (e.g., NGK BKR5E-11).
  • Aftermarket Options:
    • Iridium: NGK IX (e.g., 2477, 5464), Bosch 9600, ACDelco 41-103.

2. Tools Required
  • Spark plug socket wrench (16mm or 5/8”).
  • Gap adjustment tool (if needed).
  • Torque wrench (for proper tightening).
3. Installation Steps
  1. Prepare the Vehicle
    • Park on a flat surface, turn off the engine, and let it cool.
    • Disconnect the battery 负极 (-) to prevent electrical issues.
  2. Locate the Spark Plugs
    • Remove the engine cover and ignition coils (label them for easy reinstallation).
  3. Remove Old Plugs
    • Use the socket wrench to unscrew each spark plug carefully. Avoid dropping debris into the cylinder.

    • Note: Never adjust the gap on used plugs.
  5. Install New Plugs
    • Thread the plug manually to avoid cross-threading.
    • Tighten to torque specs: 14.7–24.5 N·m (1.5–2.5 kgf·m, 10.8–18.0 lb·ft).
  6. Reconnect and Test
    • Reinstall ignition coils and engine cover.
    • Start the engine and check for smooth operation.
4. Tips & Notes
  • Heat Range: Choose plugs matching your engine’s heat range (hot/cold) per the manual.
  • Compatibility: Use NGK, Bosch, or ACDelco for reliability. Avoid off-brand options.
  • Maintenance: Replace every 30,000–60,000 miles (check manual for intervals).
5. Troubleshooting
  • Wet Electrodes: Indicates fuel or oil leakage.
  • Gap Issues: Incorrect gaps may cause misfires or poor fuel economy.
