Description

This Genuine KIA Intake Pressure Sensor is engineered to precisely measure intake manifold pressure, ensuring optimal fuel injection and ignition timing for 2011-2022 KIA models with 1.6L, 2.0L, and 2.4L engines. Designed to meet factory specifications, it guarantees seamless integration and reliable performance.

Precision Engineering:

Semiconductor piezoresistive technology for accurate pressure detection.

Measures intake manifold pressure (vacuum) to help the ECU calculate air mass and adjust fuel delivery.

OEM Quality:

Direct replacement for part# 39300-2G000, ensuring fit and function identical to factory components.

Constructed with durable materials to withstand extreme temperatures and vibrations.

Plug-and-Play Design:

Pre-calibrated for immediate installation, reducing downtime.

Includes a vacuum hose connection for easy integration with the engine system.

Installation Steps

  1. Safety & Preparation
    • Park on a flat surface, engage parking brake, and disconnect the battery negative electrode (-).
    • Remove the engine cover and locate the intake pressure sensor (usually mounted on the intake manifold or throttle body).
  2. Disconnect Components
    • Unplug the sensor’s electrical connector.
    • Detach the vacuum hose connected to the sensor (if applicable).
  3. Remove Old Sensor
    • Use a wrench or socket to unscrew the sensor from its mounting point (tightening torque: ~4 N·m / 3 lb-ft).
  4. Install New Sensor
    • Apply a light thread sealant to the new sensor’s threads (if recommended by the manufacturer).
    • Hand-tighten the sensor, then torque to specs (4 N·m / 3 lb-ft).
    • Reconnect the vacuum hose and electrical connector.
  5. Reassemble & Test
    • Replace the engine cover and reconnect the battery.
    • Start the engine and check for smooth operation. Use a diagnostic tool to clear any stored codes and verify sensor readings.
