Features & Benefits

  • High-Carbon Alloy Metallurgy: Superior thermal conductivity and heat resistance prevent warping and pedal shudder in heavy braking applications, especially for EVs and SUVs.
  • Geomet Anti-Corrosion Coating: Professional-grade eco-friendly coating on hat and hub areas eliminates unsightly rust rings and keeps wheels pristine behind open-spoke designs.
  • Precision CNC-Balanced Engineering: Computer-balanced to near-zero tolerance, eliminating rotational vibration and high-speed braking tremors for a smoother pedal feel.
  • Optimized Ventilation Geometry: Advanced vane design maximizes airflow for faster cooling, maintaining consistent stopping power during repeated or aggressive braking.
  • 100% Direct OE Fitment: No modifications required—designed to match factory specifications exactly, ensuring compatibility with stock calipers, pads, and ABS sensors.
  • Quiet-Engagement Surface Finish: Micro-machined contact surfaces accelerate bed-in with new pads, significantly reducing squealing and bedding-in noise.

  1. Secure the Vehicle Elevate using a lift or jack stands and remove the wheels to expose the brake assembly.
  2. Remove the Caliper Unbolt the brake caliper and secure it to the suspension coil without letting it hang by the brake hose. Remove the brake pads.
  3. Extract the Old Disc Remove the caliper mounting bracket. If the disc is rusted to the hub, use a rubber mallet or impact driver on retaining screws to break the seal.
  4. Clean the Hub Surface Use a wire brush to remove all rust and debris from the wheel hub mounting surface. Apply a thin layer of anti-seize compound to prevent future corrosion.
  5. Install the New Disc Slide the new brake disc onto the hub and secure it with factory retaining screws.
  6. Reassemble the Caliper Clean the mounting bracket, reinstall brake pads (new or existing), and bolt the caliper back in place. Torque all bolts to manufacturer specifications.
  7. Bleed and Check Pump the brake pedal several times to seat the pads against the new discs and verify brake fluid level.
  8. Perform Bed-In Procedure Avoid hard braking for the first 100-200 miles. Gradually perform moderate stops to transfer pad material onto the disc for optimal long-term performance.
We offer two separate SKUs for the Sportage: one pair for front wheels and one pair for rear wheels. Front and rear discs are engineered differently to handle their specific braking loads, so it's important to order the correct position. Check your vehicle's brake system documentation or contact us with your VIN to confirm which axles need replacement.
Yes, these discs are engineered for 100% direct OE fitment with no modifications required. They're designed to match factory specifications exactly, ensuring compatibility with your stock calipers, pads, and ABS sensors. During installation, you can reuse your existing pads if they're in good condition, though we recommend pairing new discs with fresh pads for optimal performance.
The bed-in procedure takes approximately 100-200 miles of gradual, moderate braking to transfer pad material onto the disc for optimal long-term performance. During this period, avoid hard braking and aggressive stops. Once bed-in is complete, your discs will deliver the superior thermal performance and quiet operation the high-carbon alloy metallurgy is designed for.
These discs feature a professional-grade Geomet anti-corrosion coating applied to the hat and hub areas, which eliminates unsightly rust rings and keeps your wheels pristine behind open-spoke designs. During installation, we also recommend applying a thin layer of anti-seize compound to the hub mounting surface to prevent future corrosion and make future removal easier.
The micro-machined contact surface finish accelerates bed-in with new pads and significantly reduces squealing and bedding-in noise. Combined with the precision CNC-balanced engineering, which eliminates rotational vibration, you'll experience a smoother, quieter pedal feel compared to standard replacements. The advanced ventilation geometry also helps maintain consistent stopping power without the noise that comes from uneven heat distribution.
