Installation Steps

 1: Determine Speaker Sizes & Fit

• KIA Soul :
  • Front doors: 6.75" woofers + 3.5" midranges
  • Rear doors: 6.75" speakers
• KIA Rio:
  • Front doors: 6.5" speakers
  • Rear doors: 6.5" speakers (check for 2-ohm compatibility).
• KIA Forte :
  • Front doors: 6.5" speakers
  • Rear doors: 6.5" speakers (verify mounting depth).
• KIA Optima :
  • Front doors: 6.5" speakers
  • Rear doors: 6.5" speakers (some models require adapter rings).
• KIA Spectra:
  • Front doors: 6.5" speakers
  • Rear doors: 6.5" speakers (check for factory tweeter integration).
• KIA Sportage :
  • Front doors: 6.75" woofers + tweeters
  • Rear doors: 6.75" speakers

 2: Remove Factory Speakers

1. Disconnect Battery: Prevent electrical shorts.
2. Remove Door Panels:
   • Use a pry tool to gently detach clips around the panel.
   • Unplug any wiring harnesses (e.g., power locks, speakers).
3. Access Speakers:
   • Unscrew the factory speaker from the door frame.
   • Disconnect the wiring harness from the speaker.

 3: Install Aftermarket Speakers

1. Mounting Brackets:
   • If needed, attach brackets to align aftermarket speakers with factory screw holes.
2. Wiring:
   • Use a speaker wiring harness to connect new speakers to the factory plug (avoids cutting wires).
   • Match positive/negative terminals (verify with a multimeter).
3. Secure Speakers:
   • Screw the speaker into place, ensuring it fits flush.

 4: Test & Reassemble

1. Power On: Test sound quality and ensure no distortion.
2. Adjust Settings:
   • Tune EQ to optimize bass/midrange/treble.
   • Enable loudness control if available.
3. Reinstall Panels: Secure door panels and test all features (e.g., power windows).
