Installation steps
1. Align the camera hole in the spare tire cover precisely with the rearview camera on the vehicle's tailgate. This is the most important step in ensuring that the back-up camera function is not compromised.
2. Preliminarily match the other locating marks (e.g., notches, bumps) of the spare tire to the corresponding positions on the spare tire carrier.
3. Usually starting from the upper or one side of the spare tire cover, place the edge of the cover against the spare tire and press evenly and firmly so that the clips or edges are embedded in place.
4. After the spare tire cover is fully secured, gently shake all parts of the spare tire cover with your hand to check whether it is stable and whether there is any abnormal shaking or noise.
