Installation Steps

1、Prepare tools and vehicle condition:

Prepare appropriate tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, special tools, etc.
Make sure the vehicle is off and cool to avoid burns.

2、Locate and remove the old sensor:

Find the location of the water temperature sensor, which is usually mounted on the engine's cooling waterway, possibly near the thermostat or at the waterway outlet of the cylinder head.
Using a tool, carefully remove the wiring harness plug that connects the sensor.
Use a suitable wrench or socket to loosen the sensor's set screw and remove the old water temperature sensor.

3、Clean and install the new sensor:

Clean the mounting location of impurities and dirt to ensure that the new sensor will fit securely.
Install the new water temperature sensor to the engine in its original position, make sure the installation direction and position are correct, and tighten the fixing screws with moderate force.

4、Reconnect the harness plug and check:

Reconnect the wiring harness plug to ensure that it is firmly connected and not loose.
Check that the installation is secure and make sure there are no missing steps or unfastened parts.

5、Put back thermostat and start check:

With the new water temperature sensor installed, install the thermostat back onto the engine in its original position.
Start the engine and observe the water temperature gauge for normal indication and any other abnormalities.
