Installation Steps

1.Prepare tools and materials

New expansion jug, wrench, screwdriver, spare antifreeze, plastic tubing (to extract old antifreeze)

2.Drain the old antifreeze

Use the plastic tube to extract the old antifreeze from the expansion pot, making sure that no impurities contaminate the antifreeze.

3.Remove the old expansion jug

Remove the rubber hose connecting the expansion pot, taking care to record the order and location of removal for subsequent installation. Pull out the expansion pot, taking care to check for minor cracks or other damage.

4.Install the new expansion pot

Install the new expansion pot in place in the reverse order of removal. Connect the rubber hose, ensuring a tight connection and no leaks.

5.Fill with antifreeze

Fill the expansion pot with the previously drawn antifreeze or new antifreeze. Take care to check the antifreeze level to make sure it is within the specified scale.

6.Inspection and Testing

Start the vehicle and check the expansion pot and connections for leaks. Observe changes in antifreeze level to ensure that the system is working properly.
