Installation steps

1.Preparation

Prepare a new compatible catalytic converter, wrench, screwdriver (or socket set), jack, protective gloves, and other necessary tools.

Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat, safe surface.

2.Removing the Old Catalytic Converter

Use the jack to lift the vehicle for easy access to the undercarriage.

Locate the catalytic converter. For MG vehicles, it is typically positioned at the start or mid-section of the exhaust pipe. Refer to the vehicle's repair manual or related diagrams for precise location.

Loosen the bolts and nuts connecting the catalytic converter using a wrench or screwdriver. Carefully detach the catalytic converter from the exhaust pipe.
