Installation Steps
1.Remove the Old Gas Spring
Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry up the spring steel clip on the old gas spring.
2.Separate the Old Support
Pull firmly outward to disconnect the support rod from its mounting points.
3.Install the New Gas Spring
Hold the new support rod steady, align it with the ball joint, and push it into place—avoid prying the steel clip on the new rod’s back.
4.Secure and Repeat
Fix it firmly in position, then follow the same method to install the other end, ensuring a tight, reliable fit.
