Installation steps

Step 1: Preparation
1. Confirm Accessories: Remove the charging module and the supplied pry bar tool from the package. 
2. Vehicle power off: To ensure safety, it is recommended to operate the vehicle “power off” or turn off the power in the vehicle center control panel.
Step 2: Removal of the original panel (Removal)
1. Find the location: Determine the location of the reserved panel or original interface of your car [e.g., under the center console/rear air vents]. 
2. Non-destructive prying: Use our supplied pry bar to gently insert it through the gap at the edge of the panel to pry off the original reserved cover or old module.
Step 3: Connections
1. Unplug: Locate the original power harness plug, press the tab and unplug it. 
2. Docking Module: Connect our charging module adapter harness with the original wiring harness for “one male and one female”.
Step 4: Finalize & Test
1. Install the module: Align the new charging port module and gently press it into place until it is flush with the panel.
2. Restore Power: Restart vehicle power. 
3. Function Test: Connect your cell phone or electronic device with the charging cable and check if all ports are charging properly and the indicator lights are on.
