Installation Guides

  1. Preparation: Elevate the vehicle securely using a lift or jack stands. Remove the wheels to expose the brake assembly.
  2. Caliper Removal: Unbolt the brake caliper and secure it to the suspension coil (do not let it hang by the brake hose, as this can damage the line). Remove the brake pads.
  3. Disc Removal: Remove the caliper mounting bracket. If the brake disc is rusted to the hub, use a rubber mallet or a specialized impact driver on the retaining screws to break the seal.
  4. Hub Cleaning (Crucial Step): Use a wire brush to clean the wheel hub mounting surface until it is free of rust and debris. Apply a very thin layer of anti-seize compound to the hub surface to prevent future corrosion.
  5. Installation: Slide the new brake disc onto the hub. Secure it with the factory retaining screws.
  6. Caliper Reassembly: Clean the caliper mounting bracket, reinstall the brake pads (or install new ones), and bolt the caliper back into place. Torque all bolts to the manufacturer’s specified settings.
  7. System Check: Pump the brake pedal several times to seat the pads against the new discs. Check the brake fluid level.
  8. The Bed-In Procedure: After installation, perform a proper break-in: avoid hard braking for the first 100-200 miles. Gradually perform a series of moderate stops to transfer a layer of pad material onto the disc, which will ensure long-term performance and silent operation.

"Great price for drilled & slotted rotors. Paired with ceramic pads, and after a brief break-in period, I must say I enjoy these rotors. Stopping from speed is smooth and the pedal feels great. They don't produce any excessive noise that I have noticed. They look and perform great. Would buy again and definitely recommend."
